How many of you knew about the"Jesus is not your Mediator" teaching when you were JWs??

hi everyone.... just curious how many of you knew when you were active, about the societys official teaching regarding jesus the mediator.

i was floored to find in my research, that they teach jesus is the mediator for the 144,000 only.

and it is only by our association with them that we might have salvation.. i don't know about you guys but i was blown away when i learned they taught this.

It is just another way that the WT org and it's leaders have set themselves up in place of Jesus. - A false Christ.

It also bears reminding that the count of "annointed" keeps going up. I bet most who believe the bible and that Jesus is their mediator ALSO feel compelled to partake at the memorial and NOT DENY THE REAL CHRIST, but deny the false teachings of the false christ in brooklyn, New York.

and still keep their family.

Its called emotional blackmail and spiritual abuse.

The slick businessmen running this cult have used this concept to its fullest!.

JWs already believe that only 144,000 are spiritual and the rest of them are relying on "the flesh" so to speak.

twisting the "Jesus as mediator" concept from the bible puts their leadership in a fantastic position.

They explain a mediator as a sort of legal representative. Hey guess what? Brooklyn has lawyers! The governing body is actually your mediator!

You are so blessed to be in association with this cult. You have your very own Jesus made up of 12 governing body members. AND since they are the faithful and discreet slave Jehovah wants you to follow them. Because the JWs are the only ones who use his name!

Wow, it must be the truth!

Good question, I'm interested in replies as well.

Here is my experience.

I am not a jW but asked one once. They said "He IS SO!"

I said - well thats not what they teach

- IT IS SO!- I know that for sure from the bible.

next thing I hear - they've asked an elder and have changed their belief - Now they have a "better" understanding

WTF? whatever the org says goes.

So my mom now knows I'm apostate

i finally broke my silence yesterday in a discussion with my mom.

for months now i have been dropping hints here and there that i am not pleased with many things happening in the org, but i would always present it from a concerned jw prospective.

my wife wants us to remain closet jw's because she has bigger reservations of displeasing her family than i do, and wants to continue playing the game.. yesterday however my wife wasn't around, and for the 100th time my mom was ragging on me for attending one of my best friend's weddings because he was marrying a non jw, and the fact that his df'd brother was there.

Now you know how we as non-jws feel !!! , why it is so hard to keep quiet, and then have the seasoned JWs tell the new studies that their spouses and family are filled with satan!
